The EX-01 was the first in the Hogue/Elishewitz Extreme Series Knives. It was designed to be extremely durable, yet simple, elegant and practical for everyday activities. Everyone from electricians, to campers, to soldiers, to everyday users alike can find one to suit their purpose. The oversized pivot, stop pin and button lock are heat treated with stainless steel, which provides a robust lockup. Integrated spacers are designed to ensure the knife’s long term durability. A manual safety ensures that the lock cannot disengage, giving a fixed-blade-like reliability. It comes in two blade styles: Drop-Point and Tanto with ambidextrous thumb-studs. The EX-01 frame comes in aluminum (anodized 6061-T6511 aluminum), matte black, matte OD green, G-Mascus? black, or G-Mascus? green.
